Gary Vaynerchuk is a New York Times bestselling author, social media thought leader and entrepreneur. His career began with the seven lemonade stands that he set up at the age of 8. In 1997, at the age of 22, he started working for his family’s business, Shopper’s Discount Liquors, which he rebranded as Wine Library and launched a retail website, boosting its revenue from $4 million to $60 million.

An inspiring and electric speaker, he now educates others globally on taking advantage of the opportunities that social media presents. His latest book, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, was published in November 2013.

At IMUK14, Bryan explained how contagious content provides social currency - giving your audience something of value, from advice to a raised smile. He revealed how to invoke emotion, stimulate sharing and provide your brand with visibility and more conversions.

He re-located from London where he worked for Carlton TV, AdLink and handbag.com.

Steven Woodgate is a Social Media Manager at Microsoft who is responsible for providing the best customer experience to many different audiences. He graduated with a Masters with distinction in Public Relations in 2012, specialising in perception change and reputation management.

His dissertation ‘Tweeters, Twits or Twats: UK sport stars’ use of social media and issues surrounding reputation management’ achieved top marks and was published across many websites and publications. At IMUK14, Steven talked about social disruption and how it is the key to businesses becoming sustainable.

He has been working in social media in various capacities for the last six years at Oxfam, ActionAid and the Disasters Emergency Committee, running social media-focused events and field trips, multimedia exhibitions and a wide range of social content across the board.

He also previously worked for Marketo and Salesforce, where he launched their #socialsuccess site in the UK, which reached its annual traffic target in 6 weeks. Prior to Salesforce.com, Kieran worked as Head of Search for a leading Irish digital agency, where he won Gold in the UK DMA's for best search marketing campaign.
